What is your school’s Big Green Dream and how could you make it a reality with £10,000 from the ScottishPower Green Energy Trust?
The ScottishPower Green Energy Trust is inviting pupils from year S1 and S2 in Scotland or Year 7 and Year 8 in England and Wales to use their creativity to tell us their school’s Big Green Dream. From putting renewable energy to good use or introducing eco-initiatives, the Big Green Dream will help make your school more environmentally friendly.
Whether your entry is a photo, painting, drawing, video or recording, we’re challenging teachers and pupils to think about an idea that’s bursting with creativity and good for the environment. The best ideas will be eligible for a prize. The idea must be realistic for the specific prize budget. please see full prize list below. To enter, schools must submit their creative ideas either online or by post and add 250-500 words to support their entry. For more information on how to enter, please visit our how to enter page. The ScottishPower Green Energy Trust will pick 13 winning schools with one entrant receiving the top prize of £10,000 to help make their school’s Big Green Dream a reality. Four runners-up will receive £5,000 and eight shortlisted schools will receive £1,000 to help make their school’s Big Green Dream a reality.
